About Us

As a part of HAHCO growth and diversification, the Switchgear Manufacturing Division was established in 2008 to meet the ever growing needs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and International Markets.

The division operates a factory which is fully equipped with state-of-art machineries and is backed up by professional skilled personnel for the manufacturing and assembly of low voltage switchgear panels.

The Switchgear division represents a number of prestigious and world-renowned manufacturers in the field of Electrical Switchgear products and services who have proven reliability, in-house expertise to manufacture state-of the-art high-quality products for optimum performance. The division deals with Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Electrical power protection, control, monitoring and distribution equipment and their services. The division strives to provide its services to fulfill and exceed its customers’ expectations using its specialized and highly trained after sales engineers and technicians.

Main Switchboards

Main Switchboards are designed and manufactured for indoor or outdoor application; the degree of protection is in accordance with IEC 61439-2.

For the group mounted or individually mounted main and feeder devices, the internal separation varies from Form 1, Form 2A, Form 2B, Form 3A, Form 3B, Form 4A and Form 4B.

Motor Control Centers

Motor Control Center, compartmental or non-compartmental type with Form II to 3B internal separation, is a free standing design that is available for indoor application. The degree of protection is in accordance with IEC 61439.

Motor Control Center is subdivided in three functional compartments. The busbar compartment, where the main horizontal and vertical busbars are located, the equipment compartment, where the electrical component is located and the cable compartment, where the termination is located which is designed for fast and comfortable cabling.
